HP Deskjet 950C
The bigger cousin of the 930C, the DeskJet 950C offers the same features. Using PhotoREt technology, the 950C sports strikingly good looks and is aimed at the professional user. This model also supports the automatic two-sided printing module. This piece of hardware can be attached to the rear end of the device and is enabled through the toolbox software. After printing one page, the printer pulls the printed sheet back inside and then prints on the other side. This technique, though slow, is very convenient as compared to manual two-sided printing. The 950C performed almost exactly the same as the 930C, just a shade slower in text print speed and a shade faster in graphics print speed. It took 2.34, 3.21, and 4.58 minutes to print the three test files (text, combo and image file, respectively). The print quality was exactly the same as the 930C, scoring an overall of 72 points. This particular model loses out because of its higher price.
